The half-mile of Division between California and Western is Paseo Boricua, bookended by two sixty-foot steel Puerto Rican flags raised in 1995 — steel chosen deliberately for the foundry jobs that pulled Puerto Ricans to Chicago. They were granted protected landmark status in 2022, and every December they're lit for Three Kings Day. La Casita de Don Pedro at 2625 W Division is the community's living room.
